Your Garden - Our Passion
Gaia and The Green Man is a small, family run gardening business built on a love of nature, outdoor work and creating beautiful spaces for people and wildlife to enjoy.
Our journey began in 2018 when we decided to focus on work that genuinely made us happy. With a background in manual work, a passion for native plants and wildlife, and a real enjoyment of getting our hands dirty, gardening quickly became more than just a job - it became something we truly care about.
Since then, Alex has spent time working both independently and as part of a bespoke gardening team. This has provided valuable experience across a wide range of outdoor spaces, including formal gardens, cottage gardens, walled gardens and commercial landscapes. Every garden is different, and we enjoy helping each one reach its full potential.
We believe gardens should feel balanced, natural and welcoming - not just for people, but for birds, bees, insects and local wildlife too. Whether it is regular mowing, hedge cutting, installing borders, fencing, general maintenance or landscaping, our aim is always the same: to create outdoor spaces that are practical, beautiful and full of life.

Based around Trowbridge, we work across Wiltshire, Somerset and the surrounding areas. Much of our work comes through word of mouth and recommendations, which we believe reflects the care, attention to detail and reliability we bring to every project.
At Gaia and The Green Man, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our clients. We believe the best gardens come from listening, understanding what people want from their space, and delivering work to a high standard with a friendly, honest approach.
